Snow Record - Terms of Service

Welcome to Snow Record!

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Snow Record mobile application (the "App") operated by [Doyun Kim] ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the App.

1. CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING & DISCLAIMER

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING ARE INHERENTLY DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES.

• Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports involve significant risks of serious bodily injury, death, and property damage. You voluntarily assume all such risks when engaging in these activities while using the App.
• No Distraction: The App is designed to record your data (GPS, speed, vertical drop) in the background. You agree NOT to look at the screen, interact with the App, or attempt to read data while you are in motion. You must only interact with the App when you are stopped in a safe location (e.g., resting areas, lift queues).
• No Reliability on Data for Safety: The data provided by the App (including speed, altitude, and slope mapping) is for recreational and informational purposes only. It is not a professional safety device. We do not guarantee the accuracy of GPS data, slope information, or hazard warnings.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Snow Record shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including personal injury or death) resulting from your use of the App or your participation in winter sports.

2. License and Use

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the App strictly in accordance with these Terms.

• Age Restriction: The App is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age.
• Local-First Data: The App stores your riding data primarily on your local device. You are responsible for backing up your data (e.g., via iCloud). We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure or app deletion.
